Last Chance to Vote in Moscow A Cappella Festival

Since May 1st, 195 groups from around the world have been filling the streets of Moscow with a cappella and will keep singing through Sunday, May 12th. The Moscow Spring A Cappella Festival, now in it’s third season, is sponsored by the Moscow government, Moscow Seasons Street Festivals, and the office of the Mayor of Moscow.

A the end of the festival, champions will be named and impressive cash prizes will be awarded. Last year’s champion was Minnesota-based Six Appeal who earned the Grand Prix prize of 6.2 million rubles (approx US$100,000). Six Appeal returned to Moscow to defend their championship and were joined by eleven other US-based groups, including Face, Ball in the House, and Blue Jupiter.

To vote for these groups or any of your other favorites from around the world, voting is open until May 12. In addition to the Grand Prix prize, there are several other prizes based on group size. Fans can vote for groups once per day. As the competitors are saying – “don’t miss your chance to influence a Russian election!”
