Home Free Releases their 90’s Country Mixtape Vol. 1 and Hits the Road for the Holidays!
Get ready for a little nostalgia! On October 16th, country a cappella sensation Home Free released 90’s Country Mixtape Vol. 1, the first installment in a special series celebrating the unforgettable sounds and biggest hits of ’90s country music. As a country a cappella group, this project is especially meaningful to Home Free. It gives the guys an opportunity to revisit some of their all-time favorite songs, put their own signature spin on these classics, and remind a whole new generation why these tracks remain timeless hits!
We had the exciting opportunity to sit down with Home Free for an exclusive conversation about the project! We chatted with the group about everything from the initial concept and pre-production to the recording process and the creative magic that brought these arrangements to life. Featuring fresh takes on iconic country favorites like “Achy Breaky Heart” by Billy Ray Cyrus, “I’m in a Hurry (And Don’t Know Why)” by Alabama, and “My Maria” by Brooks & Dunn, Volume 1 is packed with the nostalgic country sound we all know and love!
Our conversation with Home Free premieres Saturday, November 7th at 12:00 AM EST on our YouTube channel, Acaville TV! Be sure to tune in and hear the stories behind this exciting project straight from the guys themselves.
The guys are gearing up for their Coming Home For the Holidays Tour, running November 19th through December 21st! They’ll be bringing their incredible harmonies to cities across the United States, including Green Bay, Cincinnati, Salem, Tucson, and many more.
