New Tunesday – September 17, 2019

We’ve got a few great songs lined up this week. Are you ready for some new music?

DCappella

Nothing short of breath taking the Disney a cappella group came in strong with their version of “Speechless” from the new live action Aladdin film, arranged by Deke Sharon.

Also, is there a winner for best smoulder? Morgan Keene wins hands down.

The Fleet Street Singers

Comedy and parody done well in this rather realistic story of the college all-nighter. Almost makes us miss college. Almost.

Rifftide

Don’t worry – the piano is just in the pre-show. Enjoy the latest mashup from this up and coming BYU group.

5280 A Cappella

Utilizing the beautiful Rockies as a backdrop for Foy Vance’s “Make It Rain.”

Talkappella Episode 86 – Charlie Friday

John and Brian are on a roll with some great interviews on Talkappella. In Episode 86, they sit down with Charlie Friday, longtime sound engineer and performer in the a cappella community and beyond. Tune in for some great advice on how to best utilize your partnership with your sound engineer.

As always, Talkappella airs at 5 pm Pacific on Mondays and is rebroadcast on Sundays at 4 am and pm Pacific, right here on Acaville.
