SING! Toronto’s FIRST A Cappella Competition
SING! The Toronto International Vocal Arts Festival—Canada’s leading celebration of vocal music since 2011—is turning up the volume in 2025 with the launch of the first-ever **SING! Canadian A Cappella Championships**!
Set for May 30, 2025, this groundbreaking competition will feature ten elite groups across three divisions: high school, collegiate, and open. Among the contenders are crowd favorites like VICE, Altra Volta, On That Note (Toronto Metropolitan University), and Cadenza (Sir William Mulock Secondary School), with groups hailing from both Canada and the U.S.
The stakes are high: the winning group will take home a cash prize, earn a featured spot at next year’s festival, score a professional recording session at Toronto’s top-tier Harris Institute studio, and open the **May 31 headlining concert** featuring SoundCrowd and a cappella legend Deke Sharon.
